Alabama$ 11862Montgomery CU$225 view lg
Fully issued, printed during the Civil War. Allegorical maid seated on bale, shield with cotton plant. Attractive blue O-N-E overprint. A rather common note in circulated condition, quite scarce in UNC.

Connecticut$ 1186Norwich CH CU$250 view lg
The Shetucket Bank. Endearing family portrait, adorable child. Although a remainder this note is very much in demand and has appreciated significantly over the years. Large red 1's on either side.

Georgia$ 1001860Augusta VF$325 view lg
The Augusta Insurance and Banking Co. Large central vignette of US Capitol Building. Red tints. Scarce high denomination. Red 10 on left side with large C and fancy red overprint on bottom. A very attractive red and black note and very affordable.

Georgia$ 21858Columbus GEM CU$745 sm lg
The Bank of Columbus. PROOF. River scene with covered bridge and steamboat. Red 2's. Unlike many proof obsoletes the punch holes are in the center of the note, not the bottom, which in my opinion adds to its attractiveness. This note is free of repairs which seem to plague some Proof obsoletes because of the thin paper.

Georgia$ 51862Macon VF$365 view lg
The Manufacturers Bank. Maid carried by flying eagle. Green overall tints. Many of these notes I have observed have weak signatures. This is the exception in that the signatures are clear. These notes have always been popular and will continue to be so because of its attractiveness. The majority of these notes for sale grade only Fine or less. This is an attractive VF+.

Georgia$ 201838Macon VF$75 view lg

The Bank of Morgan. Great vignette of horses running, upper left. GA coat of arms with an attractive red FIVE overprint. Not a rare note but always very popular, quite scarce in CH CU.

Georgia$ 101857Morgan VF$175 view lg
The Bank of Morgan. Spread eagle with shield. Patriot and Indian brave. Red TEN. A very impressive note that is fully issued with above average margins.

Georgia$ 201861Ringgold VF$450 view lg
The North Western Bank of GA. A very impressive note with attractive maiden in center, maids in upper left and upper right, contrasted by large white 20's outlined in red with microprinting across entire note. A very desirable fully issued note with clear bank signatures. Ultra-attractive.
